Accounting Manager

We are seeking an Experienced Accounting Professional who seeks the Accounting Manager responsibilities of preparing accounting reports, financial management and leadership. In this role you will learn every aspect of the business, work with internal employee groups across the organization and strive to understand processes and streamline where possible.Key Responsibilities to be performed with a high degree of accuracy include:Manage fixed assets including CIP, additions, disposals and depreciation. Overseeing the Percent Complete ReportReconciliation of general ledger accounts and month-end journal entries, ensuring proper backup support for all.Preparation of a rolling quarterly cash forecastFinancial forecasting of large projectsApproval of purchase ordersApproval of accounts receivable invoices and follow up on customer collectionsEnsuring tasks are completed timely for mid-month estimations and month-end close. Final completing of all checklists.Additional Tasks may include:Assist with external audit information as needed, ensuring timeliness of information to auditorsPreparing required reports/filing necessaryAction and follow up on all finance related meetings/new projects; review for continual improvement/efficiencies of processesAssist with budgeting informationSuccessful candidates should have demonstrated competent performance in:Self-driven time managementExperience with percentage of completion method accountingDeveloped accounting skills and various accounting responsibilities / experiences. 4-year degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience), 8 years’ experience with growing responsibilities, coupled with proven Excel knowledgeMeticulous attention to detailsUnderstanding financial statements, both preparation of and analysis ofJournal entry and account reconciliationDedication to tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities; attendance is necessary at certain times due to deadline-driven work.Experience with project accounting and working in an automotive manufacturing environment are preferred skills.Who We AreHercules Tooling Group as part of ArtiFlex Manufacturing designs and builds products and solutions for companies with tough challenges by employing people with a willingness and ability to be “Innovative.
