Senior Tax Analyst
Who Are We Looking ForReporting to the Sr. Manager, Global Tax Operations, this position will be responsible for supporting worldwide GAAP income tax accounting, worldwide transfer pricing compliance, and worldwide income tax compliance matters.ResponsibilitiesSupport all aspects of worldwide US GAAP income tax accounting and related reporting to include:Assist with the quarterly and annual worldwide income tax provision process in accordance with ASC 740, including calculation of quarterly and annual current and deferred taxes, provision-to-return adjustments, etc.Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX 404) compliancePrepare the ASC 718 stock compensation workpapersPrepare tax account reconciliationsSupport continuous improvement of quarterly and annual provision processes, including those for non-US entitiesUtilize and assist with administration of the department's tax provision software, including GAM packages, training, etc.Communicate with various departments and individuals within the organizationSupport the Americas income tax compliance process to include:Assist with the timely and accurate filing of all Americas income tax returns (including estimates and extensions), including ensuring adequate and appropriate documentation is collected and retained for auditsAssist with Americas state income tax auditsRespond to tax notices and inquiriesPerform tax research required for complianceAssist with procedure and process improvements and other matters that ariseEducation and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree in an accounting or finance discipline requiredMust have a minimum of 5 years related experience with a "Big 4" or large corporation; combination of education and experience will be consideredCPA and/or MST / MBT preferredQualificationsExcellent analytical, organizational and project management skills, including proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneouslySolid workpaper documentation skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with all levels of managementStrong working knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax laws and countries of responsibilityAbility and desire to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment understanding that priorities can change in a very dynamic mannerStrong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial conceptsMotivated, professional self-starter who can work well independently as well as in a team environment.Must interface effectively with team membersAbility to work well under strict deadlines and impeccable attention to detailWillingness to learn new skills/concepts and be challengedTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
