Previous warehouse or logistics experience isrequired.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and oversee all warehouse operations - shipping, receiving, packaging & replenishment. Assign team members for daily railcar loading & site sanitation priorities. Supervise and direct warehouse staff; put worker safety as a top priorityTrack and account for all incoming and outgoing productsConfirm proper and timely delivery of productsPerform various inventory counts; order supplies and goods as neededSupervise all forklift operations in the warehouse.Maintain warehouse and machinery, ensuring equipment is serviced when needed and a clean and tidy workspace is always kept.Maintain shipping documentation, manifests, and receipts; enter relevant data in reports as neededEnsure that shipment materials match packing lists before dispatching ordersAssist in the hiring and training process of new warehouse staffEnsure proper transport, packaging, and placement of productsMotivate and lead warehouse staff to effectively carry out given tasksAbide by and enforce facility rules and state laws and regulationsImprove warehouse work processes through strategic planning in order to create a more efficient fulfillment systemParticipate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of the organization Discover new trends and innovations in the fields of warehousing and storage programsAbout youPrevious experience in a warehouse positionKnowledge of inventory and supply chain managementForklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training and operate machinery safely according to company protocolProficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Suite and data entry systemsPhysical stamina, able to work long hours on one's feet and lift 50+ poundsExcellent organization and efficient time-management skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to meet deadlines and work well under pressureParticipate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of theorganizationIn return AAK offerHealth and welfare insurance benefits effective on date ofhire including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
