This role sits at the intersection of product, finance, sales, and marketing, and is critical to driving revenue growth, profitability, and market competitiveness.You will define pricing frameworks, evaluate monetization opportunities, and ensure alignment with customer value and business objectives. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with strong business judgment and cross-functional leadership.Primary ResponsibilitiesPricing Strategy DevelopmentDesign and implement pricing strategies for new and existing products, including packaging, tiering, and discount structuresAlign pricing with customer value, competitive positioning, and market dynamicsMonetization & Revenue OptimizationDriving the monetization of AI and future of pricingIdentify and drive opportunities to improve revenue, margins, and customer lifetime valueLead pricing experiments (A/B testing, elasticity analysis) to optimize outcomesMarket & Competitive AnalysisConduct ongoing research on market trends, competitor pricing, and customer willingness to payTranslate insights into actionable pricing recommendationsCross-Functional LeadershipPartner closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success teamsEnable go-to-market teams with pricing tools, guidance, and trainingGovernance & ExecutionEstablish pricing governance, approval processes, and discount policiesEnsure consistent pricing execution across channels and regionsAnalytics & ReportingDefine KPIs and dashboards to monitor pricing performance and business impactPresent insights and recommendations to executive leadershipQualifications & Experience10+ years of experience in pricing strategy, product management, strategy consulting, or related fieldsProven track record of developing and executing pricing strategies in a B2B and/or SaaS environmentStrong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, data analysis, and pricing toolsDeep understanding of value-based pricing, segmentation, and monetization modelsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior leadershipBachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferredPay:$173,000.00 - $277,000.00 + Eligible for Variable Compensation PlanCommensurate with relevant qualifications and experienceBenefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHealth Savings AccountFlexible Spending Account401(k) Retirement Plan with Company MatchLife and Disability InsuranceCritical Illness InsuranceAccident InsuranceHospital Indemnity InsurancePaid Time Off and HolidaysFlexible Working ScheduleSphera is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
