Team members join a mission-driven organization focused on helping individuals “train for life” both inside and outside the gym.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Group Fitness Instructor role based in the Greater Augusta Area. The Group Fitness Instructor will lead dynamic, safe, and engaging group training sessions that reflect ISI® Elite Training’s programming and coaching standards. Responsibilities include demonstrating proper form and technique, offering modifications, and monitoring participants to ensure safety and maximize performance. The role involves greeting and supporting members, building strong relationships, and creating an inclusive, high-energy atmosphere in every session. The instructor will collaborate with the team on class scheduling, member engagement, and studio events, as well as assist with basic facility upkeep and occasional front-desk or member support tasks. This position requires consistent punctuality, reliability, and a commitment to representing ISI® Elite Training’s core values in every interaction.QualificationsStrong group exercise and group fitness coaching skills, with the ability to lead high-energy, team-based sessions.Experience in personal training and the fitness industry, including knowledge of functional training, strength training, and safe exercise progressions.Excellent customer service skills with a focus on member experience, relationship building, and community engagement.Nationally recognized fitness certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA) and current CPR/AED certification, or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.Clear, confident verbal communication and cueing skills; ability to motivate diverse fitness levels in a group setting.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and some weekends, as required by class schedules.Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and alignment with ISI® Elite Training’s core values of energy, integrity, adaptability, results, and teamwork.Prior experience in a boutique fitness, group training, or sports coaching environment is preferred.
