Job Title: Temp - International RN - Labor and Delivery (L&D) Location: 189 Prouty Dr, Newport, VT 05855 Shift: Night 3x12-Hour(6:45pm-7:15am) Pay Rate: $42-$48/Hourly. Duration: 3 Years - Temp to Perm! Job Description: Assessing and monitoring the condition of pregnant patients before, during, and after childbirth Assisting doctors and midwives in the delivery of babies Administering medication and conducting necessary medical procedures under the direction of healthcare providers Coaching mothers during labor, including but not limited to breathing and relaxation techniques Providing postpartum care to mothers and newborns, including monitoring vital signs, and assisting with breastfeeding Communicating with patients and their families, explaining procedures, and providing emotional support Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate medical records Operating and monitoring medical equipment such as fetal monitors Identifying any complications or emergencies and responding swiftly Educating parents about newborn care, including bathing, feeding and cord care Submission Requirements Minimum of 2 years CURRENT experience - Required Hits on Nursing License will not be accepted/considered Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) preferred Cerner EMR experience - Required BSN – Preferred Traveler MAY float to non-complex overflow patients (within scope of practice) Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
