This complex system of 34 web-based modules is used by over 10,000 active users to meet the housing needs of over 2.5 million service members, DoD civilians, and their families.Job Description:We are seeking aDatabase Developerwith strong experience inPL/SQLto help us maintain and enhance multiple customer databases. In this role, your primary focus will be designing, developing, and optimizingPL/SQL-based database solutionswhile ensuring data accessibility, integrity, and performance. You will collaborate closely with application teams, troubleshoot complex database issues, and implement improvements to existing Oracle database procedures and modules.Clearance : Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret.Location/Flexibility:Vienna, VA with remote flexibilityKey Responsibilities:Develop, optimize, and maintainPL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and viewsto support enterprise applications.Analyze and enhance existing database modules, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with project requirements.Respond to and resolve customer questions or issues related to Oracle databases, focusing onPL/SQL-based solutions .Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration between Oracle database operations and application requirements.Perform database tuning and optimization to enhance query performance.Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for database components, processes, and updates.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree in technical field (IT, Information Security, Database Administration) with a minimum of5+ yearsof relevant professional experience supporting database developmentCertification: CompTIA Security+ CertificationWorking knowledge and experience withOracle DB ,PL/SQL , andSQLDemonstrated expertise in designing and managingOracle packages, procedures, triggers, indexes, and functions.Understanding ofOracle databasedesign, theories, and data retrieval procedures adopted by applicationsExperience with query tools such asToadorSQL DeveloperWorking knowledge and experience withGitandGitHubfor version control and collaborationUnderstanding of database security best practicesFamiliarity with data modeling concepts and toolsHighly self-motivated with the capability to independently analyze codebases and perform in-depth research with minimal supervisionAbility to adapt to different teams and changing priorities and requirementsWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologiesUnderstanding of Agile software developmentDemonstrates strong problem-solving abilities and rigorous attention to detail while fostering open communication and collaborative teamworkPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Java, C#, or PythonExperience with Linux, Shell ScriptingOracle Certified Associate (OCA)Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at times.#JTThe pay range listed for this position reflects the wage or salary range NT Concepts expects to pay for this role at the time of posting.
