OverviewUltimate Solutions Search is partnering with a highly selective investment firm seeking a Senior University Talent Recruiter (5+ years) to help identify and attract the next generation of talent.This role sits at the center of the firm’s talent strategy, working directly with senior investors to define hiring needs, build differentiated sourcing pipelines, and execute a best-in-class recruiting process across top universities.Why this role?This is not a traditional campus recruiting role.You’ll operate as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, translating hiring needs into structured evaluation frameworks and executing targeted, data-driven sourcing strategies across elite academic institutions.The role blends analytical rigor with high-touch relationship building—you’ll engage directly with candidates, professors, and campus ecosystems while continuously refining your approach based on performance metrics and market feedback.This is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-bar, fast-paced environment and wants to function as a builder, not just a process manager.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop a deep understanding of hiring needs and role requirements, translating them into clear rubrics and markers of success aligned with talent market realities.Partner closely with senior investors to design and execute differentiated sourcing strategies across top universities.Research, identify, and directly source top-tier university talent, building and maintaining strong pipelines.Engage candidates with clear, compelling communication while authentically representing the firm’s culture.Continuously refine search strategy using data, outcomes, and qualitative insights.Assess candidates holistically and deliver clear, calibrated evaluations to hiring teams.Manage candidates through the full lifecycle, including offer process and closing.Collaborate with a Campus Coordinator to ensure seamless execution of recruiting logistics and candidate experience.Top RequirementsBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally within campus, early career, or full-cycle recruiting environments.Demonstrated success operating in a rigorous, fast-paced environment with high expectations.Strong ability to partner with and influence senior stakeholders.Experience leveraging data and metrics to drive sourcing strategies and hiring outcomes.Demonstrated creativity in talent identification and non-traditional sourcing approaches.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design and implement strategic solutions.TL;DRSenior recruiting role at a high-performance investment firm—partner with investors, build elite university pipelines, and run a data-driven, high-touch hiring process in a rigorous, high-bar environment.
