Your responsibilities will include:Daily Operations:Conduct daily safety checks of your delivery vehicle and report needed repairsReview your manifest, load your truck, and make safe, efficient deliveries in compliance with federal/state regulations and company policiesUse established delivery standards focused on safety, customer service, and productivityCustomer Service & Communication:Interact professionally with customers, maintaining respect for their propertyCommunicate proactively with dispatchers and routing specialists, reporting customer concerns or delivery obstaclesParticipate actively in team huddles and maintain a neat, professional appearanceTechnical & On Call Responsibilities:Use the Raven handheld device effectivelyPrime furnaces, perform leak tests, and light pilots for out-of-fuel customers (oil/propane)Take part in night and weekend on-call rotationsKeep your delivery truck organized and stocked with tools and safety gearTeam Collaboration:Support other departments when needed through cross-trainingPerform additional duties assigned to support operationsWhat You Bring:Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience: At least 21 years old; one year of prior truck-driving experience preferredLicensing:Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement requiredCETP certification required for propane deliveryApprentice oil-burner license required for oil delivery with furnace primingMust pass a DOT physical and pre-employment/random drug testingStrong commitment to safety, reliability, and excellent customer serviceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWork Environment:Work outdoors in all weather conditions (from below zero to above 90°F)Exposure to petroleum fumes, truck/pump noise, and vibrationFrequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, handling, and communicationAbility to pull a delivery hose weighing up to 75 lbs. for up to 150 feet—about 30 times per dayOccasionally lift or help move items over 75 lbs.How You'll SucceedYou make safety your priority, communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and enjoy working in a hands-on, customer-focused environment.
