Solution Architect - Microsoft Fabric

Role: Solution Architect – Microsoft Fabric (Azure Data Platform) Location: Naperville, IL (Onsite) Visa: USC profiles only Role Summary Looking for a Solution Architect to design modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric. Strong Azure data experience is mandatory; Fabric experience is optional. Mandatory Skills 1. Data Architecture • Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) • Data modeling (star schema, semantic layer) • End-to-end data platform design 2. Azure Data Services (hands-on) Experience with multiple: • Azure Data Factory • Azure Synapse Analytics • Azure Data Lake Storage • Azure SQL Database 3. Power BI / Semantic Layer • Strong Power BI experience • DAX, data modeling, performance concepts 4. Data Engineering • Advanced SQL • ETL/ELT pipelines • Spark/PySpark basics 5. Governance & Security • RBAC, RLS • Basic data lineage understanding 6. Solution Architecture • Experience designing scalable, enterprise data platforms Preferred Skills • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake) • AI + data (RAG, Copilot concepts) • API/integration patterns • CI/CD for data Nice to Have • Microsoft Purview • Real-time analytics • Multi-tenant architecture • Azure Databricks (Very Optional )
