Customer Service Specialist: Freeport, IllinoisOur customer in Freeport, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We're recruiting Customer Service Specialists to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will support existing clients by phone and email, ensuring timely, accurate responses to questions and service needs. This role is critical to maintaining high client satisfaction and freeing licensed advisors to focus on sales and complex cases.Responsibilities of the Customer Service Specialist:Answer inbound client calls and emails.Assist with common Medicare-related questions (training provided).Handle plan-related inquiries, ID cards, and basic troubleshooting.Route complex or sales-related issues to licensed advisors.Document client interactions accurately.Follow established workflows to ensure consistency and compliance.Provide expanded availability during and surrounding Annual Enrollment Period (September–January).Manage higher call volumes efficiently and professionally.Customer Service Specialist Requirements and Qualifications:Strong phone and written communication skills.Health Insurance Licensing required within 3 months of hire.Customer-service mindset with patience and empathy.Ability to learn Medicare processes quickly.Comfortable working variable hours during peak seasons.Pay for Customer Service Specialist: $25/hour.Customer Service Specialist Benefit:Health insurance.Paid time off.401k with company match.Paid weekly.Direct deposit.Paid training.Type: 1st Shift, Full-time.Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 5:30pm.
