Roll Form Engineer - 2nd Shift

Our client is looking for a dynamic Roll Form Engineer to innovate and optimize roll forming process operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional eager to enhance manufacturing efficiency and sustainability.Evaluate and configure manufacturing systems to reduce costs and streamline processes.Determine and acquire the necessary tooling for roll forming.Analyze and resolve issues with current tooling and processes.Provide engineering support and training to operations and maintenance teams.Collaborate with vendors to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.Design, fabricate, repair, and troubleshoot high-precision machines and systems.Research new materials and processing methods, with a focus on metallurgy.Plan and implement improvements related to safety, quality, and cost.Working ConditionsEngage directly with machinery in a non-climate controlled environment.Perform tasks such as bending, standing, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.Work in confined spaces and at varying heights.Adapt to flexible schedules and travel to various locations as needed.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.5-10 years of hands-on experience in roll forming and related manufacturing processes.Proficient in mechanical, electrical, air, and hydraulic systems.Skilled in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.Computer literacy with proficiency in Windows, MS Office, and AutoCAD.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.At Talent Wave Associates, we connect outstanding talent with exceptional opportunities.
