Freelance Sales Manager | Medical Device | Europe & MENA | Hybrid
We are looking for experienced, commercially driven Freelance Sales Managers to drive sales of advanced disinfection technology into hospitals, cleanrooms, and controlled clinical environments on behalf of a European medical device company.
This is a high-ticket, commission-only role with significant earning potential. You will receive qualified leads and sales-ready opportunities and be responsible for converting them into closed deals.
About the role Key responsibilities include managing and converting a pipeline of qualified prospects into closed sales across hospitals, clinic groups, pharma/biotech production facilities, and cleanroom operators. You will conduct on-site visits, product presentations, and demonstrations at prospect facilities, and manage the full sales conversation from first meeting through to signed contract. You will engage directly with key decision-makers including Heads of Infection Control, Facility Directors, Hospital Procurement, Cleanroom Operations Managers, and Quality & Compliance leads. Representing the company at relevant trade fairs and industry conferences across your region is part of the role. You will report against clear KPIs covering conversion rates and closed revenue.
Requirements Candidates must have a proven track record in closing high-ticket B2B sales, ideally in medical devices, capital equipment, infection prevention, or health-tech. Direct sales experience into hospitals, healthcare systems, or pharmaceutical production environments is required. Candidates must be comfortable with a commission-only model and demonstrate consistent ability to close complex, multi-stakeholder deals. A willingness to travel for on-site prospect and customer visits is essential. Candidates should be based in or have strong commercial reach within one or more of the following regions: DACH, Nordics, Benelux, CEE, or MENA.
Preferred qualifications An existing network of contacts within hospital procurement, infection prevention, cleanroom operations, or pharmaceutical manufacturing is a strong advantage. Experience selling into regulated environments such as GMP cleanrooms or hospital IPC departments is highly valued. Familiarity with disinfection, sterilisation, or environmental monitoring technologies is a plus. Additional languages relevant to the target region, particularly German, Dutch, French, or a Scandinavian language, are welcomed. A technical or scientific background is a plus but not required.
Model: Commission-only, freelance. Hybrid remote with on-site prospect visits as required. Commitment: 0.5 to 1 FTE, flexible depending on region and pipeline activity. Travel & expenses: Covered for approved prospect visits, demonstrations, and trade events. Regions: DACH, Nordics, Benelux, CEE, MENA, one or more regions per candidate. Start: As soon as possible.
The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a long-term commercial partnership with expanding regional responsibility.
