Assistant Director- Respiratory Therapy

The Assistant Director of Respiratory Services supports the Director in overseeing the daily operations, clinical quality, and strategic development of the Respiratory Care Department. This role ensures high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and efficient departmental performance in alignment with organizational goals. Pre-Employment Requirements: We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required. Education and Experience: Graduate of approved program for Respiratory Therapy Certification of Registry by the National Board of Respiratory Care or the National Board for Cardiopulmonary Credentialing required. Minimum of 5 years of clinical respiratory care experience. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of respiratory care practices, equipment, and technologies. Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities. Ability to analyze data and implement performance improvement initiatives. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospital information systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
