Clinical Operations Lead (On-Site)

Title: Clinical Operations Lead Location: South San Francisco, CA (hybrid remote) Pay Range: $115/hour+ We are seeking a Contract Clinical Operations Lead to join a passionate, collaborative, global clinical operations team dedicated to transforming the patient, caregiver, and site experience in clinical trials. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative clinical trial delivery and have a meaningful impact on patient care. What You’ll Do: As a Clinical Operations Lead, you will work in a cross-functional, matrixed environment to enable teams to perform at their best and drive high-impact work. Your responsibilities may include: Contributing to operational activities that support the execution and delivery of clinical studies and programs across disease areas. Supporting local and global initiatives and strategic projects. Ensuring quality and compliance with GCP/GVP standards, maintaining data integrity, and applying risk-based approaches to your work. Collaborating across teams to develop and implement best practices in clinical operations. Acting as a resource and mentor for colleagues, helping drive efficiency, continuous improvement, and adoption of innovative approaches and digital technologies. Partnering closely with investigators and clinical site staff to foster strong relationships and position the organization as a preferred partner. What We’re Looking For: 2+ years of relevant experience in clinical operations or related areas. Knowledge of drug development, clinical trial execution, and regulatory guidelines (ICH/GCP). Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills; comfortable working in collaborative and ambiguous environments. Ability to plan and manage moderate-sized projects, prioritize effectively, and work in real-time optimization cycles. Demonstrated ability to foster change and innovation, particularly in adopting new technologies for clinical trials.
