Turn designs into reality.We're looking for a detail-oriented 1st Shift CAD Detailer to join our Production Engineering team and help transform custom HVAC concepts into build-ready solutions. In this role, you'll play a critical part in converting engineered designs into accurate fabrication and assembly drawings that drive real-world production.If you enjoy working at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and problem-solving—and take pride in clean drawings and smart solutions—this role offers hands-on impact and opportunities to grow your technical expertise.What You'll DoCreate detailed fabrication and assembly drawings and bills of materials for custom, Engineered-to-Order mechanical HVAC equipment using AutoCAD and client-specific design toolsSupport all areas of Production Engineering, including wall details, weld details, and unit base pansCollaborate closely with Design Engineering, Production Engineering, and Plant teams to ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and production-readyAssist with work orders and drawing distribution to keep production running smoothlyContinuously expand your knowledge of drawing standards, best practices, and emerging design toolsTake on additional responsibilities as needed in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentWhat You BringAssociate's degree or at least 2 years of experience in a CAD or Engineering Technology environmentStrong working knowledge of AutoCADSolid understanding of Microsoft Office toolsFamiliarity with basic mechanical engineering design processesStrong math, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage details while keeping the bigger production picture in mindNice to HaveExperience with ERP systemsBackground in sheet metal or metal fabricationCNC experience is a plusWhy This Role MattersYour work directly impacts how custom HVAC equipment is built—every line, dimension, and note helps ensure quality, efficiency, and accuracy on the production floor.
