Description:Role Name: Technical Lead - Full Stack (Node.js, React.js, AWS Serverless)Location: Must be Local to Dallas, TXPossible 3 Month CTH | No Fees | Do Not Re-Post | Confidential**Experience:** 10-14 Years**Role Overview**:We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in Node.js Microservices, React.js, AWS Serverless Technologies, and Cloud-Native Application Development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading engineering teams, designing scalable distributed systems, and delivering modern full-stack applications using React, Node.js, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines. The role requires a hands-on leader who can drive architecture decisions, mentor developers, and collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and business stakeholders. Relevant technologies reflected in comparable full-stack cloud-native environments include React.js, AWS Lambda, Kubernetes, microservices, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures.Role must be local to Dallas and should work from client location for all business days.**Key Responsibilities****Technical Leadership**Lead a team of developers and provide technical direction for the design and implementation of enterprise-scale applications.Drive architecture, design reviews, coding standards, and engineering best practices.Mentor and coach team members through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.Collaborate with Product Management, UX, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver business outcomes.**Full Stack Development**Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and Microservices architecture.Build modern, responsive user interfaces using React.js, Redux, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.Develop secure RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.Implement event-driven and asynchronous processing patterns.**Cloud & Serverless Engineering**Design and develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and Step Functions.Build cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and IAM.Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.Ensure scalability, resilience, high availability, and security of cloud applications.**Microservices & Integration**Architect and implement distributed microservices using containerized and serverless patterns.Develop event-driven solutions leveraging Kafka, messaging systems, and asynchronous workflows.Implement API versioning, security, observability, monitoring, and performance optimization.**DevOps & Quality Engineering**Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.Implement automated testing, code quality checks, security scans, and deployment automation.Participate in production support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident management.**Required Technical Skills****Backend**Node.jsExpress.jsJavaScript (ES6+)TypeScriptREST APIsGraphQL (preferred)Microservices Architecture**Frontend**React.jsRedux / Context APITypeScriptHTML5CSS3Responsive Design**AWS Cloud & Serverless**AWS LambdaAPI GatewayECS / EKSEC2S3DynamoDBRDSSQSSNSCloudWatchIAMStep Functions**Containers & DevOps**DockerKubernetesJenkins / GitHub ActionsTerraformGitSonarQube**Data & Messaging**PostgreSQL / MySQLMongoDB / DynamoDBKafkaRabbitMQ (preferred)**Leadership Expectations**Lead architecture discussions and technical decision-making.Estimate work, manage technical risks, and guide sprint planning activities.Drive engineering excellence and solution quality across teams.Work directly with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.Build high-performing engineering teams through mentoring and leadership.**Preferred Qualifications**Experience building serverless and cloud-native applications on AWS.Experience with high-volume transactional systems and distributed architectures.Knowledge of security frameworks including OAuth2, JWT, SSO, and RBAC.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.AWS Developer Associate, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent cloud certifications preferred.
