Electrical Technician

Our Electrical Technician will work directly with engineers and electrical designers on panel construction. This position is responsible for using schematics to install components, wire custom control panels, and build skid assemblies with occasional field work to modify existing control panels. Job Responsibilities: Install components to sub panels and enclosure doors. Accurately and neatly wire control panels from electrical schematics. Pre-wiring of skidded systems. Ability to run laser to drill subpanels and cut enclosure doors. Work with shipping to prepare control panels and skids to be shipped. Responsible for inventory control of common components. Perform occasional field work to modify existing control panel. Requirements: Required: 2-3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician or related experience. Associates or Trade School degree in a technical field such as Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant work experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks during a given work week and consistently deliver to a deadline. Travel up to 10%. Preferred: Basic understanding of electrical circuits and design skills. Previous PLC or control panel construction experience. Light fabrication and stainless-steel welding experience. Previous experience operating a forklift.
