Your Clinical Impact: Evaluation & Planning: Conduct comprehensive resident evaluations and create evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual recovery goals. Direct Treatment: Provide high-quality, hands-on therapy in line with the California State Practice Act. Clinical Leadership: Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and guide Restorative Aides to ensure consistent care delivery. Precise Documentation: Maintain accurate daily notes, progress reports, and recertification documentation in a timely manner. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate closely with nursing and the broader clinical team; participate in care conferences and utilization reviews as needed. Discharge Success: Educate residents and families on safe mobility and home-exercise programs; recommend and coordinate necessary durable medical equipment (DME) such as walkers and braces. Qualifications: Licensure: Valid, unrestricted California Physical Therapist (PT) License. Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, accurate documentation, and the ability to motivate residents throughout their recovery journey.
