Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential Occupational Therapy services to K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting this summer. This position runs from June 1st to June 25th, with a potential need to support additional students at the start of the new school year in August or September. There are no work requirements in July.As a valued team member, you'll deliver OT services during Extended School Year (ESY) sessions, scheduled Monday through Thursday. Expect a part-time commitment of 22-25 hours weekly, traveling across multiple buildings to meet a caseload that totals approximately 600 service minutes weekly. You will play a vital role supporting student growth and independence, working with diverse ages and abilities.Key Qualifications:Current Occupational Therapy license in MissouriExperience serving K-12 students in school settings highly preferredStrong organizational skills and adaptability, given the need to visit several locations in one weekExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with faculty and familiesReliable transportation and comfort with significant travel between sitesResponsibilities Include:Delivering quality OT services to students across multiple school locationsEvaluating student needs and developing individualized intervention plansDocumenting student progress and participating in team meetings as neededAdapting support strategies based on student feedback and educational goalsCollaborating closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student outcomesThis contract offers the chance to make a meaningful difference during the summer term, with the flexibility of a part-time schedule and an engaging, supportive work environment.
