Qualified Staffing is recruiting an Equipment Operator for a cement and aggregate operation in Branchville, VA. This position supports daily sand plant production by operating heavy equipment, assisting with plant operations, and helping maintain equipment and work areas. Candidates should have prior equipment experience, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work safely in an outdoor industrial environment. What Youll DoOperate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, articulated haul trucks, and water trucks Assist with daily plant and pit operations, including setup, adjustments, and material handling Perform routine equipment inspections, lubrication, and basic maintenance Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly Keep work areas clean and safe while supporting production goals Follow company safety policies and industry best practices Work occasional weekends or extended hours based on production needs What Were Looking ForPrevious heavy equipment operating experience required (excavator experience preferred) Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Experience in sand, aggregate, mining, or construction environments preferred Understanding of workplace safety practices Good communication skills and teamwork mindset Valid drivers license required Ability to work outdoors in dusty, noisy, or changing weather conditions Why Work With Qualified Staffing?Competitive benefits including healthcare, vacation/holiday pay, and 401(k).
