Job OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer with strong experience in microservices architecture, AWS cloud technologies, and event-driven systems. This role involves building scalable backend services, contributing to frontend components, and actively participating in system design discussions.Candidates must be local to Plano, TX or Columbus, OH and available for onsite interview and work.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot or MicronautBuild and integrate event-driven data pipelines using Kafka, Kinesis, SQS, or SNSDevelop scalable solutions leveraging AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, and AthenaWork with DynamoDB and relational databases (Oracle) for data modeling and queryingContribute to Angular-based frontend components for UI functionalityImplement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and manage CI/CD pipelines via JenkinsWrite and maintain unit tests using JUnit (backend) and Jasmine (frontend)Collaborate with architects and stakeholders on system design and architecture decisionsSupport development of audit and compliance platformsRequired Qualifications8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development (Java 17/21 preferred)Strong expertise in Spring Boot or Micronaut for microservicesHands-on experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, Kinesis, SQS/SNS)Solid experience with AWS services (DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, etc.)Experience with Angular (preferred) or ReactProficiency in SQL (Oracle) and NoSQL (DynamoDB)Experience with Terraform and JenkinsStrong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systemsExperience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Jasmine)Preferred SkillsExperience in authorization, entitlement systems, or security domainsExposure to audit/compliance platformsStrong problem-solving and system design skillsEligibilityCandidates must be able to work on W2 (USC/GC/GC-EAD/H4-EAD/TN/L2)Must be local and available for onsite interview
