UnityPoint is not willing to accept local candidates at this time.A Day in the Life - Curtis - Registered Nurse (vimeo.com)The Wound and Ostomy Nurse (WO) functions as an integral member of the patient care team by providing specialized direct nursing care to a specific group of patients with stomas, fistulas, pressure sores, drains, incontinence or other skin/wound problems. The WO RN collaborates with the APP and wound care medical director to meet complex patient needs.The WO RN provides education to nursing staff regarding this patient population. The WO RN develops plans of care, evaluates achievement of nursing outcomes, revises plans and monitors the ongoing quality of care given to these patients.EMR - EPICRequirement description :Qualifications Include:~BSN from an accredited school of nursing~2 years clinical experience~State of WI RN License~Graduate of WOCN accredited professional education program~Exceptional communication skillsPreferred:~Master's in nursing~Prior wound/ostomy experience
