Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,221 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Care Specialist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: Up to 26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required; 3 years recent experience strongly preferred for first-time travelers License: RRT License required Certifications: RRT, BLS, PALS (All required prior to start) Must-Have: Specialty in NICU/PICU preferred; pediatric experience strongly preferred Description: Locals accepted at travel rate. Every other weekend is required. No on-call duties. Floating is required within scope but not to sister facilities. Block scheduling is not available. Maximum of 3 shifts off for 13-week contracts. Maximum of 8 shifts off for 26-week contracts. If taking one full week off, an additional week must be added to the contract. Modules are non-billable and typically average 20 hours. The facility type is a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. The bed capacity is 323 inpatient beds and 70 NICU beds. Scrub colors must be any solid color without logos, and child-friendly attire is required. The facility uses Cerner for charting. Daily census and number of visits per day are not specified. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. There is a no smoking policy in effect throughout the facility. References are strongly preferred and must be available upon request. Compliance is expected prior to the start date. Travelers must apply for the required state license where applicable. A pending license application can be accepted only under specific conditions. Special equipment experience is preferred. Previous Charge experience is not required. Travel experience is required.
