Senior Accountant

A growing professional services organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in the Greater Boston area. This position will report to the VP of Finance & Accounting and focus on general ledger accounting, month-end close, payroll, project accounting, and financial operations support within a collaborative, hands-on environment.$90K–$100K + discretionary bonus (DOE)This is a full-time position with an initial primarily onsite schedule, transitioning to a hybrid arrangement over time.Job Description Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and accruals Manage GL accounting, payroll processing, and payroll-related entries Support AP, AR, billing, and cash management activities as needed Perform bank reconciliations and apply customer payments Assist with project setup, budgets, and client invoicing Support project managers with financial reporting and analysisJob Requirements 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong GL and month-end close experience required Professional services industry experience preferred Experience supervising or mentoring AP staff a plus Deltek experience strongly preferredAll interested and qualified candidates, please send a resume to Owen Borek – oborek@kbwfinancial.comKBW789
