Fully RemoteW2 PreferredVisa Independent PreferredKey Responsibilities:Design and Develop Workday Extend Applications: Create, implement, and manage Workday Extend applications to support business processes and enhance Workday functionality.Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction for Workday Extend solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and enhancements.Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, assess application needs, and develop high-quality, scalable solutions.Application Support and Maintenance: Manage the lifecycle of Workday Extend applications, including troubleshooting, updating, and maintaining integrations with Workday Core.Integration Development: Design and build integrations with Workday Core and other systems using Workday Studio, Workday Extend, and third-party integration tools.Security and Compliance: Ensure that all Workday Extend solutions comply with security standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.Testing and Documentation: Conduct unit and integration testing for Workday Extend applications and maintain comprehensive documentation.Train and Mentor: Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to other team members, helping to grow the internal Workday Extend expertise.Required Skills and Qualifications:Workday Experience: 3+ years of experience with Workday, including at least 1 year working with Workday Extend.Workday Certifications: Workday Extend Certification is preferred. Other Workday certifications (e.g., Workday Integration, Studio) are a plus.Technical Skills: Experience with JavaScript, Object-Oriented Programming, REST/SOAP APIs, XML, and XSLT.Workday Studio: Proficient in developing and deploying integrations using Workday Studio.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience working in HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, or Financials functions in a large enterprise.Familiarity with Workday security concepts and data governance.Experience with other Workday tools like Workday Prism Analytics or Workday Report Designer.Knowledge of modern web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) and cloud technologies is a plus.
