In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in enterprise firewall technologies, with a primary focus on Palo Alto Networks, while providing secondary support for Check Point environments. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls that protect Publicis Groupe's global infrastructure across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on the bleeding edge of networking and wants to make a meaningful impact on a global scale.ResponsibilitiesManage and monitor intrusion detection and prevention systems, responding to suspicious activitiesDeploy zero-day threat protection and develop response strategiesManage endpoint protection technologies to guard against malwareArchitect and configure secure network solutions, including FW, NGFW, Web Content FilteringMaintain security architecture documentation and generate regular security posture reportsCollaborate with IT and compliance teams, providing guidance on security best practicesMaintain security policies, procedures, and standardsEnsure compliance with relevant standards, directives and regulationsRemain abreast of emerging technologies, cyber threats and security toolsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent background or military experienceProject leadership experience - ability to drive organizations and resources to complete required tasks in service of end goalsDetailed technical experience in the installation, configuration, and operation of high-end firewall appliancesStrong understanding of LAN and WAN networking protocols and technologies, including switching and routingStrong TCP/IP networking skillsDynamic routing skills (BGP, OSPF, etc)Good troubleshooting skills and ability to use tools like tcpdump & WiresharkApplication identificationPacket capture analysis / fault isolation and remediationGlobal-scale network designGood written and verbal communication skills with confirmed ability to communicate with senior leaders and technical peersPolicy & Governance: Develop, enforce, and audit enterprise-wide security policies, including traffic inspection and access controlFirewall SkillsPalo Alto Management: Expert-level configuration and optimization of Palo Alto firewalls (PA-Series) using Panorama for centralized managementPalo Alto SDWAN and PrismaPrisma CloudPalo Alto experience using StrataCloud manager for operational issuesHybrid/Cloud Security: Architect and support security controls across on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) using tools like Prisma AccessSecondary Support: Provide operational support, rule management, and troubleshooting for Check Point firewall environmentsNice to have: Python, Ansible, or Terraform to automate repetitive security tasks and streamline deployment workflowsEngineering and admin experience with Checkpoint firewalls with Provider-1 for centralized managementSalary Range: $120 - 140K/yr
