Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Campus and Student Services or their delegate, the Campus Resource Coordinator provides administrative support, on-site IT and facilities assistance, and operational aid to students, faculty, and staff. Serving as a liaison and point of contact, the coordinator supports various university services such as IT, Student Advising, Campus Operations, and Admissions.
This on-campus position entails providing 70% administrative and customer service support, along with 20% IT support and 10% facilities management responsibilities. Office hours vary with evening and weekend rotations required. Infrequent/limited, if required, support is needed on other campuses.
Starting Salary: Non-exempt position at $28.20 - $29.23 an hour (Temporary position, 25-28 hours a week, benefits eligible).

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, in a computer related field or 7 years equivalent experience in a hands-on computer management position.; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience: Three (3) years IT work experience, and two (2) year office & facilities management. Proven experience and success with hardware troubleshooting. Proven experience with software configuration, installation, and trouble diagnostics. Application experience using Microsoft productivity products, remote services, helpdesk tracking systems, statistical packages, anti-malware software, and imaging products. Understanding methods and techniques of communication with students and employees.
Certifications, Licenses, etc.: None, however A+, Network+, Security+, and Linux+ certifications are a plus.
Skills:
Good, hands-on technical knowledge of PC operating systems including Microsoft Windows versions, MacOS 10 higher, and IOS and Android platforms.
Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws including HIPAA, PCI, FERPA and Red Flag Rule.
Knowledge of batch scripting and shell commands.
Working knowledge of Internet browsers and web based tools.
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Able to conduct research into application issues and products as required.
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
Highly self-motivated and directed, with full attention to detail.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Strong customer service orientation.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Operate a computer, scanner, camera and other computer related equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

IT related dutiesAccomplish computer and peripheral problem resolution and/or user assistance remotely or on location.
Perform computer hardware repair, installation, upgrade, and software install.
Student assistance / Email system support / Login related issue resolution.
Augment helpdesk services as required through the IT Helpdesk Coordinator and Helpdesk application.
Monitor and handle trouble ticket resolution in IT Helpdesk.
Answer phone calls, assist users remotely using network utilities with sensitivity to English as a second language and cultural differences.
Perform network troubleshooting and repair including VOIP systems.
Assist with web conference scheduling, equipment maintenance, and end-user support.
Follow technology assets through inventory tracking.
Provide technological support for their University campus and customers.
Coordinate vendor relationships for multi-function peripherals.
Compile or create campus documentation for IT guidelines, reporting, and documentation.
Lead or participate in Information Technology department related meetings.
Maintain software inventory and track renewal cycles.
Track malware trends and deploy anti-malware software applications accordingly.Facilities related dutiesMaintain a facilities management program for the campus.
Maintenance Log for responsible building systems (ADA, Internal Safety).
Day-to-day oversight of maintenance reports.
Implement safety programs including emergency preparedness and IIPP for employees.
Responsible, along with Campus Director, to participate as a key member in campus safety committees.
Tracking and reporting accidents and other safety issues: including HR referrals.
Periodic rounds (daily, weekly, etc) to visually assess safety related conditions and logging or reporting accordingly.
Work with the property management companies to ensure all maintenance or service reports are taken care of on time and quality.
Receive and distribute incoming & outgoing mail, or shipments.
Scheduling online calendaring system (Astra) classrooms and meeting rooms as well as room set-up, if needed.
Working with colleagues to resolve any scheduling conflicts.
Coordinate space for external groups who have approved onsite events
Plan/Execute employee office relocations.
Facility Security: security company, office/facility keys, facility access cards.
Support Chief Facilities Officer with long term planning, budgeting, and project implementation.
Support Campus Director with campus operations as needed.
Perform other related tasks, duties and responsibilities as required, assigned or directed.Supervisory Responsibility:
Direct Reports: None.
Indirect Reports: Student Assistants; External service providers (janitorial, security, etc)
Contact Responsibility:
Internal: Interacts with supervisor to receive general directions and instructions and/or review of work results. This position will work closely with all constituencies of the University to support both students and colleagues in achieving student success and Department goals.
External: ISP vendors or other vendors/contractors to update/upgrade IT equipment, etc.; Property management or other vendors for facilities related issues.
Primary Work Location, Hours & Travel Requirements:
Office Location: On Campus.
Work Hours: Standard office hours, on-call availability
Travel: Infrequent/limited, if support is required on other campuses.
