You''ll take ownership of a highly visible documentation ecosystem used by a fast-growing community of developers building AI-powered applications and agent-based workflows.The ideal candidate combines strong technical writing expertise with hands-on proficiency in Python and TypeScript, excellent information architecture skills, and experience creating SDK, API, and developer-focused documentation.What You''ll DoAudit and redesign the information architecture of developer documentation, transforming existing content into a clear, intuitive learning journeyCreate and maintain high-quality SDK and API documentation for technical audiencesValidate and troubleshoot Python and TypeScript code samples to ensure accuracy and functionalityDevelop end-to-end tutorials, implementation guides, and cookbook-style content for common developer workflowsBuild and improve automated documentation generation processes for SDK reference materialsExpand and enhance example libraries and sample applicationsBreak down complex or lengthy technical content into well-structured, user-friendly documentationCollaborate closely with engineering, product, and documentation teams to identify content gaps and prioritize improvementsLeverage community feedback, developer questions, and usage insights to continuously improve documentation qualityHelp establish processes and tooling that ensure documentation remains accurate as products evolveRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience creating developer-facing technical documentationExperience writing SDK documentation, API references, tutorials, or implementation guidesStrong proficiency in both Python and TypeScript, including the ability to read, write, test, and debug code samplesExperience with documentation-as-code workflows, including Git, pull requests, Markdown, and/or MDXStrong understanding of information architecture and developer learning pathsExcellent written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and conciselyFamiliarity with modern AI tools and developer platformsPreferred QualificationsExperience documenting AI, machine learning, LLM, or agent-based development platformsExperience working with SDKs, APIs, developer tooling, or platform productsExperience building CI/CD workflows that automatically validate documentation code samplesExperience generating API references from source code, docstrings, or type definitionsBackground in Developer Relations, Developer Experience (DX), or technical educationExperience creating sample applications, tutorials, and implementation guides for developer audiencesRepresentative ProjectsRedesign a large API reference into a structured, cross-linked documentation experienceImplement automated testing workflows that validate documentation code examplesCreate comprehensive tutorials guiding developers from setup to production-ready implementationsDevelop new documentation based on recurring developer questions and community feedbackExpand SDK examples and best-practice implementation guides for developersInterview ProcessUp to 3 interview roundsTechnical writing assessmentCoding/writing take-home exerciseFinal team interviewsIdeal CandidateYou are passionate about developer experience and believe great documentation is a critical product feature.
