General Maintenance/Groundskeeper

Responsible for preventative maintenance and minor repairs in all buildings of the agency. Performs routine maintenance on a building’s interior and exterior areas. Assist with renovation/remodeling of buildings, repair plaster and drywall, and paints building structures. Perform a wide variety of general and maintenance tasks. Use a variety of hand and power tools and material handling equipment in performing duties. Complete service requests in a timely manner. Maintains clean, safe, and orderly work sites. Assist with special projects periodically as directed. Maintain grounds as needed. Proactive in identifying projects needed to preserve positive image of facilities, grounds, fleet vehicles and structures on campus. Perform outside custodial duties such as snow removal or shoveling as required. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Knowledge of plumbing and electrical helpful.
