Vicino is a Modern Italian restaurant concept located in Indianapolis, IN. We are seeking a very qualified Server to assist in opening and successfully operating a modern Italian concept. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit. Various skills that are required in this job are as such: Server Responsibilities: ● Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude. ● Knowledge of POS software (Toast) ● Engage with customers in a friendly manner. ● Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions. ● Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. ● Collect payments from tables. ● Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol Server Requirements: ● Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. ● A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff. ● Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised. ● Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system. ● High school diploma. ● Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner. ● Ability to lift 25 lbs Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Shift: Day shift Evening shift Night shift Experience: Serving: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
