Behavior Specialist for Adults

Job Description Salary: $30-$45 per hour depending on experienceSupportive Behavioral Resources, Inc, (SBR) is hiring for Part-Time Behavior Specialists to support the positive, emotional, and behavioral growth of adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and Autism.Requirements:Availability to work at least 10 hours per week during daytime hoursWilling to spend 90% of the workday travelling between sessionsOwn a working computerResponsibilities:Completing a functional assessmentDeveloping a Behavioral Support Plan, which includes strategies to support the individual based upon assessmentThe provision of training to individuals, staff, parents, and caregivers, and ongoing face-to-face contact/meetings with the person and their team.QualificationsMasters Degree in Human Services, or related field, or Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of professional experience working with individuals with ID/AMinimum of two years working directly with individuals with ID/A; preferably adultsDrivers License and Reliable VehicleProficient and professional writing and communication skillsKnowledge of web-based data systems
