Job Description Integrity Trade Services is currently hiring for our client in Plainfield for general laborRotating shifts 7pm-7amPAY RATE- $22SUMMARYThe Material Handler position supports operations, maintains production flow, provides accurate production ticketing and paperwork while keeping work area organized and clean.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAbility to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrate attention to detail.Maintains appropriate levels of prepared dunnage for production packaging.Ensure product is properly labelled and recordedMonitor production as totes or pallets fill; removing, closing, ticketing and placing in warehouse.Supports crew where needed.Keep production area organized and clean.Perform daily safety inspection of department forklift and completes required paperwork.Move and locate all materials in accordance to FIFO practicesLoad raw material as neededPull stock, complete shipping manifest and load trailers with finished product for deliveriesDispose of scrap and recycling – may utilize bailers or grinders.Perform rework/sorting duties as neededFollow established procedures to ensure all product meets client and Logoplaste specificationsComply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as maintaining good housekeeping and GMP/Global Food Safety practicesQUALIFICATIONSGood experience and knowledge in warehouse managementGood interpersonal skills – ability to read/write EnglishPerform basic math functionsPerform basic clerical skills, maintain Bill of Lading paperworkAbility to climb, sit, stand and walk on a varying basis throughout work scheduleAbility to carry and/or maneuver up to 75 poundsApplications done online at www.itsstaffing.comPlease select Crest Hill as your nearest office.Why choose Integrity Trade Services?At ITS, we offer our employees a competitive salary paid weekly and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.Interested? The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment. An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment. Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave 401(k) with company match for eligible employees.Eligibility: Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age. Entry dates into the 401(k) are: 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work.The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution.
