Job DetailsJob ID: 27676 Pay Frequency: Hourly Job Type: Temp-to-Hire (W-2 through AMMON Staffing) Work Setting: On-Site (Not Remote) Department/Industry: Warehouse/Logistics Schedule: Monday-Friday Shift: Day Shift | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Overtime: Yes Benefits: Weekly Pay; Health Benefits Available Screening Requirements: Drug Screen; Background Check Experience Required: 1+ year (unless otherwise stated) Start: Immediate Opening (Start ASAP) Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; stand/walk for extended periods; work in a warehouse/yard environment Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with loading and unloading trucks/containers, handling goods carefully and safely Organize inventory in the warehouse or yard so items are stored correctly and easy to access Ensure products/materials are properly labeled and marked according to company standards Move materials and products throughout the facility using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified) Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area (sweeping, cleaning spills, disposing of trash) Sort, stack, and label products in preparation for shipment or distribution Assemble and prepare shipments, ensuring items are packed properly and securely wrapped Support daily warehouse tasks such as inventory counts, stock rotation, and order picking Operate basic warehouse equipment and tools as needed (dollies, carts, pallet jacks) Follow safety protocols and company policies regarding workplace safety Inspect materials/products to identify damaged or defective goods Assist shipping, receiving, and inventory departments as needed Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or concerns to supervisors promptly Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors/management Requirements1+ year of warehouse or logistics experience preferred (unless otherwise stated) High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Basic knowledge of safety practices and warehouse operations Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Good communication skills and ability to work well with others Flexibility to assist in various roles and adapt to changing workplace needs Must pass a drug screen and background check Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (not required) Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified)
