Primary Responsibilities: • Assist in the setup of machinery for operation • Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance • Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor under direction of the machine operator • Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops • Comply with all safety and health regulations • Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area • Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials • Provide services to customers on a 24/7 emergency basis - On call schedule for the team • Provide the best customer service possible while maintaining a high level of efficiency • Support services for other teams in the plumbing division. Knowledge/Skills: • High attention to detail • High School Diploma or GED • Valid Driver's License • Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience • Must be detail-oriented • Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement • Ability to follow written and oral instructions • Ability to work in a team • Great attention to detail • Ability to lift heavy equipment, to bend, and to stand or walk for long periods of time • Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary) • Ability to lift 75 pounds without a dolly; 175 pounds with a dolly Preferred Experience With: • Skit Steer • Mini Excavator (E35 Bobcat) • Backhoe • Forklift • Hydro-Vacs • Hyrdro-Jetter • Dump Trailer • Equipment Trailer • Enclosed Trailer • Trencher • Snowplow Able to Become Proficient In: • Blade Attachments • Extend-a-Boom • 12' - 36' Bucket • Tampers • Survey Equipment • Hand Tools • Jumping Jack • Dump Buggy • Concrete Work • Valid Driver's License with a clean DMV record • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background.
