This is a 3–6 month contract role. With team members across 20 countries and several integrations underway, this role sits at the heart of how we bring new businesses, teams, and clients into Podean.Reporting to the COO, you’ll own the project management of integrations end‑to‑end — from Day 1 planning through to fully integrated operations. You’ll partner with leaders across Finance, People, Tech, Client Services, Media, and Commercial to keep workstreams on track, surface risks early, and make sure each integration delivers what the deal set out to do. This role is US‑based and remote‑first.What You’ll DoProject manage post‑merger integrations from Day 1 planning through to full operational integrationBuild integration plans for each acquisition, including timelines, milestones, owners, and dependencies across functionsRun the integration management office — chair workstream meetings, track progress, and report status to the executive teamPartner with workstream leads across Finance, People, Tech, Operations, Client Services, Media, and Commercial to align on priorities and unblock cross‑functional issuesLead the operational and systems integration workstream — folding acquired tools, processes, and data into Podean’s stackPartner with Client Services and Commercial leaders to integrate acquired client books, contracts, and revenue operationsPartner with the People team on culture and change management — onboarding new teams, aligning on ways of working, and keeping the employee experience consistent through transitionsTrack integration KPIs against the deal thesis and report on synergy capture, client and talent retention, and milestone deliveryIdentify risks early, upscale to the COO and exec team, and drive resolution before they become blockersBuild a repeatable integration playbook so each new acquisition gets faster and smootherRun lessons‑learned reviews after each integration and feed improvements back into the playbookCoordinate Day 1 readiness across deal close logistics, internal communications, and external announcementsStand up the integration governance and cadence — steering committee, working teams, decision logs — and adapt it deal by dealWhat We’re Looking For5–7 years of project or program management experience, with at least 3 years running M&A integration workstreamsHands‑on experience managing post‑merger integrations end‑to‑end, including Day 1 planning and operational integrationTrack record managing cross‑functional projects across Finance, People, Tech, Operations, and Commercial workstreamsStrong project management toolkit — integration planning, milestone tracking, and clear executive reportingComfortable presenting to and partnering with executive leadership, including translating deal thesis into operational integration plansExcellent stakeholder management skills — able to influence without authority across functions, geographies, and seniority levelsComfortable navigating ambiguity and bringing structure to fast‑moving situationsStrong analytical mindset — comfortable working with financial, operational, and people data to track integration progressClear, concise communicator — equally comfortable in a working session, a written status update, and an exec readoutExperience working in or alongside a fast‑growing, globally distributed organizationHigh degree of cultural sensitivity — integrations involve people, not just systems.
