Certified Medication Aide
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care facilities and possess a deep understanding of medical procedures and patient care.
Duties:
- Administer medications to patients following prescribed schedules
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients
- Assist with activities of daily living for residents
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure proper patient care
- Provide support assisted living facilities
Experience:
- Previous experience working in senior care, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospitals
- Familiarity with Point Click Care or similar electronic medical records systems
- Knowledge of physiology and acute care practices
- Experience in administering medications and monitoring patient responses
