Senior Regional Property Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of 30+ multifamily properties including Market rate, Tax Credit & HAP projects throughout the state of Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to develop and implement strategies that enhance the operational efficiency and profitability of the properties under their supervision. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of multiple properties within the assigned region, ensuring they are managed effectively and efficiently. Develop and implement property management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Have a thorough understanding of the laws and compliance rules with LIHTC & HAP properties and the various government programs that are offered. · Be able to review, analyze and understand a Balance Sheet and the various loan structures associated with LIHTC properties. Hire, train, and supervise on-site property managers and support staff, providing guidance and performance feedback. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure proper maintenance and identify areas for improvement. Develop and manage annual budgets for each property, monitoring financial performance and implementing cost-control measures. Coordinate with leasing teams to maximize occupancy rates and develop marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants. Handle tenant relations, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure timely collection of rent and other fees, and manage delinquency processes. Oversee maintenance and repair activities, ensuring timely resolution of issues and adherence to quality standards. Prepare and present regular reports on property performance to senior management. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, adjusting strategies as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with at least 2 years in a regional or multi-site management role. Strong knowledge of property management principles, practices, and regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to develop and manage budgets effectively. Proficiency in property management software – Yardi, and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel within the region as required.
