Position Details: Contract Length: 13 wks Number of Openings: 2 Start Date: 4/27 Hours/Shifts/Schedules: Days 40 hrs/wk (4x10s) available! *Every other weekend, every other holiday Setting/Day to day Hospital EMR: Epic Requirements 2 years of Oncology experience BLS The Oncology Registered Nurse evaluates, plans, implements and documents nursing care for the oncology patient population. The Oncology Registered Nurse works in hospitals and outpatient care centers where patients receive cancer treatments. In hospital settings, the Oncology Registered Nurse assists with surgery prep, patient education and coordination of their cancer treatments. In outpatient care center settings, the Oncology Registered Nurse typically helps with treatments such as chemotherapy and infusions while monitoring patients’ vitals, side effects, and pain.
