Youth Arts Program Instructor

https://athenacoding.com/ Athena Coding is a premier after-school enrichment company looking for instructors to teach kids creative and engaging arts-based classes! Our classes are 1-2 hours a day, once a week for six to eight weeks. As an instructor, you'll guide and teach students ages 6-12 in engaging arts based after-school classes. All lesson plans and materials needed will be provided. We have after-school programs such as Jewelry Making, Hollywood Filmmaking, Music Production, LEGO Design, Arts & Crafts, and Dungeons & Dragons. Responsibilities: Manage a classroom of 10-25 children while making sure they're safe, secure, and having a ton of fun. Deliver engaging hands-on lessons based on the provided curriculum and materials for your chosen program. Teach your preferred subject in a fun, exploratory way- no need to be an expert! We're looking for someone with: An upbeat, empathetic, and energetic character. A passion for working with children in a learning setting. Prior experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring is a plus.
