Production Line Lead

Job Title: Production Line Lead - 1st Shift Location: Macungie, PAType:  6 month Contract To HireCompensation: $20.00/hr - $24.00/hour    Overview:  Reputable industry leader is seeking a Line Lead for their pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging operations in Macungie, PA! ResponsibilitiesAssist in directing employees’ activities within assigned manufacturing room(s) or areas to meet daily production schedulesCommunicate supervisor’s job orders to employees and ensure all batch record entries are completedMaintain line/area in an orderly and safe manner while adhering to GMPsMonitor packaging operations for optimal performance and assist with reporting production metricsTrain designated peers as needed, complete line/area changeovers, and oversee cleaning and check proceduresConduct attendance checks, support training initiatives, and coordinate priority setups/startupsProvide status updates to management and ensure lines/areas are ready as scheduledEnsure batch record corrections are completed timely and recommend process and equipment improvementsTroubleshoot work issues, assist with deviations and investigations, and perform other duties as assignedRequirementsPreferred: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA/BT) in a technical discipline OR Associate’s degree with 3–5 years of pharmaceutical packaging experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience in pharmaceutical or related industry inspection requiredStrong documentation and communication skillsStrong organizational and planning abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)Prior leadership experience (conflict resolution, critical thinking, communication) requiredAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds; vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and focus adjustmentSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
