Relocation assistance availableOnsite in El Paso, Texas$85,000- $100,000$200/day stipendCompany car and phoneSummary of Role:Responsible for overseeing field service operations for commercial and industrial mechanical/HVAC projects. Ensures safe, efficient, and profitable execution of service work while leading technicians, coordinating resources, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.Core Responsibilities:Maintain a safe work environment for technicians, subcontractors, and jobsite personnelSupport, mentor, and train field technicians on safety programs, technical procedures, and company standardsEnsure service work meets contract requirements, quality standards, and customer expectationsCoordinate with sales, dispatch/coordinators, managers, and technicians to drive efficient and profitable service operationsAssist leadership with technician performance reviews and team developmentParticipate in operational and financial review meetings as neededProvide technician support for morale, communication, and technical troubleshootingCoordinate scheduling and dispatch of discipline-specific service callsReview open work orders and ensure timely completion of outstanding callsPerform equipment startups and complete required commissioning/startup documentationConduct quality control inspections of completed field workSupport technician onboarding and ongoing training effortsPlan and oversee field activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to customer satisfactionCoordinate labor, materials, parts, equipment, subcontractors, and customer communication with minimal supervisionAssist with pricing, quoting, and scope development when requiredIdentify additional service opportunities and support upsell/additional work authorizationsComplete all required documentation including labor time, service reports, open calls, and safety recordsProvide advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting support to field teamsEnsure inspections are scheduled and completed successfully with owners, engineers, and inspectorsGenerate leads and referrals for future service opportunitiesPerform other duties as assignedLeadership Expectations (Senior Levels):Independent decision-making with responsibility for department or functional area performanceBuild and maintain relationships across internal teams and customer organizationsMake decisions with meaningful operational and financial impactAnticipate challenges and resolve complex field and operational issuesEstablish objectives, standards, and processes for diverse field activitiesProvide technical leadership and fiscal accountabilityAccountability & Compliance:Follow all company policies and proceduresMaintain responsibility for safety leadership and stop-work authority in unsafe conditionsEnsure required industry licenses/certifications are current as applicablePhysical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry tools, materials, and equipmentAbility to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffoldingAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, crouch, and work in active field environmentsAbility to safely handle tools and equipment throughout the workday
