This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of complex projects and contribute meaningfully to a studio that values both craft and community.What You'll DoLead and coordinate all project efforts through every phase of design and development to ensure efficient, cost-effective execution for complex projects.Present technical and design solutions directly to clients and represent the firm with professionalism and confidence.Guide and oversee Schematic Design, design development, and construction documentation, ensuring alignment with project requirements.Monitor budgets, schedules, and project documentation to keep projects on track and well organized.Supervise and support the team's design and technical delivery, providing clear direction and quality oversight.Develop and advocate for the lead technical approach on projects, coordinating with project managers, architects, and consultants on appropriate solutions and product strategies.Deliver complete, accurate, and well-coordinated project documents that meet quality standards with minimal comments during review.Mentor architectural staff, fostering technical growth, design rigor, and collaborative teamwork.What You'll BringSignificant experience developing details and providing technical and design support for commercial projects through Design Development and beyond.Strong knowledge of building codes and a clear understanding of how code constraints impact design decisions.Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.A self-motivated, proactive work style and the ability to build positive working relationships with internal teams, outside consultants, and clients.Proven ability to lead and positively direct architectural staff.Strong proficiency with SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Revit/BIM.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.QualificationsLicensed and registered Architect in the state of Texas.8+ years of professional architectural experience.Deep familiarity with IBC and Texas amendments, Type V construction, accessibility requirements, and occupancies A, B, and M.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program.Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional growth.Legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without restrictions (visa sponsorship is not available for this position).BenefitsComprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coveragePre-tax Flexible Spending PlanEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)401(k)
