Recruiting Specialist
Job Description:POSITION SUMMARY:The Recruiting Specialist partners with Headquarters and Prineville Operations hiring managers to facilitate efficient and effective recruiting methods based on the available role, industry standards, and needs of the organization. This individual identifies opportunities to build networks and talent pools, introduce new recruitment tools, and improve the candidate experience.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Monitors trends on the job market and analyzes recruitment data to create and refine recruitment strategies to fill open positionsAssists with job posting and advertising processesIdentifies candidates and conducts proactive recruitment outreach utilizing HCM and recruitment tools, social media channels, networking events, etc.Screens applications and helps to identify qualified candidatesMaintains accurate recruitment tracking, including time to fill open positions and applicable talent pool dataAssists with preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materialsAssists with the interview process; attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders when necessaryCollaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, including identifying candidate’s total rewards targets, start dates and pertinent employment negotiation detailsEnsures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policiesBuilds and maintains positive relationships with external recruiting partnersProactively identifies and attends applicable recruiting events and networking opportunitiesUtilizes HR and recruiting systems to gather data illustrating hiring trends, areas of success and opportunities for improvementPerforms other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent1 year of recruiting experience preferredCompetent with a range of systems and tools to perform basic functions including Google Suite, cloud-based HRIS systems, and applicant tracking systems; experience with Workday Recruiting a plusStrong oral and written communication skills; high level of comfort with networkingAbility to understand sensitive information and maintain confidentialityHighly organized, detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously BENEFITS:Quarterly profit-sharing bonusMedical, dental, vision, and life insuranceCompany-funded retirement plan - no cost to employeePaid holidaysPaid time offHybrid arrangements available (3-4 days in office 1-2 days from home)Tuition AssistanceEmployee discountReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions/primary responsibilities.
