As Senior Healthcare Business Development Manager for Washington State, you'll be the face of Hanger Clinic across the region, building relationships, breaking into new accounts, and positioning Hanger as the undisputed leader in orthotic and prosthetic care for health systems.This isn't a desk job. You'll be out in the field cultivating a powerful network of referral sources and stakeholder champions, turning cold introductions into long-term partnerships, and driving real revenue growth across your territory. You know how to read a room, earn trust fast, and close, and you bring the same energy to your tenth meeting of the week as you did to your first.You'll bring sharp market instincts, a hunter's mindset, and strategic savvy to execute at both the ground level and the boardroom. Experience managing or mentoring fellow sales professionals is a plus, as this role may include coaching a small team or leading high-impact special projects as we continue to grow.Ideally based out of Seattle or Tacoma, if you thrive on autonomy, love the open road, and want to sell something that genuinely changes patients' lives, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.Your ImpactPrimaryAchieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across both acute and non-acute marketsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers both clinical and non-clinicalPrepare proposals, presentations, responses to RFPs to improve contracting efforts with health systems and hospitalsCreate hospital contract implementation plansConduct presentations, value-based solutions, and negotiations to close dealsMaintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline using CRM toolsBuild collaborative and consultative relationships with Hanger Clinic team including Area Directors, Group Practice Leaders, and administrative leadersMonitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies accordinglyCreate and conduct business reviews with hospitals in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure execution of contractual obligationsFacilitate connection of Hanger clinicians to referral partners through Hanger programs, in-services, CEs, trade shows and community eventsSupport Health System Team in securing partnerships with target accounts through development of key relationships and non-clinical and clinical championsPartner with group purchasing organizations and representatives to provide solutions to health system pain points that deliver value on the GPO agreementDevelop and implement strategies to bring value to referral partners through utilization of the Hanger Clinic value proposition for all products and servicesPartner in health system management (QBRs) with key Hanger Clinic stakeholdersEnsure customer satisfaction and retention through initiative-taking engagement and problem-solvingAnalyze data, sales metrics, and KPIs to identify areas for improvementLeadership & Team DevelopmentCoach, mentor, and support a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales goalsMay be responsible for 2-3 direct reports of BDM I, II, III including regular one-on-one sessions to provide feedback, training, and alignment with organizational goals and objectivesShare best practices, sales strategies, and market insights to elevate team performanceFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and understanding of overall healthcare ecosystemTranslate corporate sales goals into actionable plans for the teamSupport new hire onboarding and trainingMinimum QualificationsBA/BS in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Business Administration or another related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required5 years managing and developing a sales team3-5 years sales experience in acute and non-acute marketsA valid driver's license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and ProceduresAdditional Success FactorsProven history of sales success in the healthcare industry including track record of budget attainmentAbility to build impactful internal and external relationshipsPeople and project management experienceIDN and GPO knowledge baseExcellent communication, negotiation, and people skillsExperience leading sales teamsAbility to thoroughly complete RFI/RFP's and conduct value-driven business reviewsAct with integrity in all ways and at all times, remaining honest, transparent, and respectful in all relationshipsKeep the patient at the center of everything that you do, building lifelong trustFoster open collaboration and constructive dialogue with everyone around youContinuously innovate new solutions, influencing and responding to changeFocus on superior outcomes, and calibrate work processes for outstanding results(Washington State Only) Pay range of $90,000.00-$118,690.00/yearly + bonus + commission + benefits.
