Position Type:Maintenance/Custodial/Maintenance General Date Posted:3/30/2026 Location:Winona Senior High School Closing Date:until filled Position Title: Custodian or Custodian/EngineerPrimary Location: Winona Senior High School Assignment Specifications: 8 hours per day; 256 days per; 2nd Shift, 2:00pm-10:30pm Group Affiliation/Policy: Maintenance Hiring Range: $19.19-$20.61 with additional compensation of .25 per hour based on boiler's license held. Exempt Status: Non-ExemptResponsibilities: Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Custodian or Custodian/Engineer performs cleaning, maintenance, and operation of buildings and boiler inspection and operation (as appropriately licensed) to provide a safe and comfortable environment for staff and students. The incumbent also performs repairs and upkeep as needed. This person will assist in the set up and clean up for special events. This person may also rotate into other positions and shifts on occasion as necessary.Qualifications: Previous custodial experience required. Experience with commercial cleaning equipment preferred. Must have the ability to work with limited direction. Must have strong customer service skills and the ability to work with education staff and to adapt to a changing work environment as necessary. Ability to positively interact with students as necessary. Extra hourly rate for Special Boilers License, 2nd Class Boilers License, 1st Class Boilers License, or Chief's License available.
