Production Worker (8am-4:30pm)

Position Overview:We are seeking dependable and hardworking Production Workers/Production Assistants to support operations in a paper product manufacturing facility. This is an entry-level role with opportunities for growth and advancement. These positions are responsible for performing manual and physical tasks that keep the production line running efficiently. Team members will assist machine operators, handle materials, assemble products, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Key Responsibilities:Assembly & Fabrication:Manually assemble product components using hand or power tools while following technical instructions and production orders. Material Handling:Load and unload raw materials into machinery and onto pallets, move finished goods to designated storage areas, and operate equipment such as pallet jacks (training provided). Quality Inspection:Visually inspect products for defects and remove non-conforming items to ensure quality standards are met. Machine Support:Assist machine operators with setup, monitor equipment for issues, and perform basic cleaning and maintenance. Packaging & Shipping:Package completed products for shipment, apply labels or logos, and document production data and inventory counts. Requirements and Skills:Physical Stamina:Ability to stand for 8-12 hours per shift, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and work in noisy or temperature-variable environments. Dexterity & Attention to Detail:Strong hand-eye coordination for assembling small parts and the ability to identify quality issues. Reliability:Dependable attendance and flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed. Basic Skills:Ability to understand and follow instructions.
