Foreclosure Sale Coordinator
Position: Foreclosure Sale Coordinator Job Description: Alex Cooper Auctioneers, Inc. is seeking an on-site, full-time Foreclosure Sale Coordinator. This position is responsible for scheduling and managing foreclosure sales throughout Maryland and Washington D.C. This role coordinates all aspects of the foreclosure auction process, including basic deed and title research, legal advertisement drafting and placement, scheduling sales, communicating with attorneys and trustees, producing invoices, and answering phone calls and emails from potential bidders. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills and must enjoy working with people in a team environment. This position is based at our headquarters in Towson, MD. Normal scheduled hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate and administer residential and commercial foreclosure sales from assignment through completionConduct deed, land records, and title-related research to verify property details, legal description and lien informationPrepare and coordinate legal advertisements for publicationMonitor publication deadlines and ensure all notices meet legal timing and formatting requirementsSchedule foreclosure auction sales in coordination with trustees, attorneys, and Alex Cooper’s auctioneer teamMaintain detailed calendars and tracking system for sale dates, cancellations and postponements Prepare sale contractsMaintain accurate records of legal advertisements and sale documentationPrepare timely and accurate post-sale documentation including invoices Communicate effectively with attorneys, trustees and members of Alex Cooper’s auctioneer teamPerform other duties and projects as assigned Qualifications: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word)College degree requiredExperience researching and analyzing land records and deedsStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Passionate about providing excellent customer service and building relationships with attorneys Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environmentResponsible and comfortable handling sensitive dataDetail-oriented and organized Compensation and Job Classification: · On-Site, Full-Time Role· Expected Pay Range is $65,000 - $75,000, depending on experience· Two (2) Weeks of Personal Paid Time Off with an additional five (5) Sick Days· Health, Vision and Dental Insurance (Company contributions for each policy)· Voluntary Benefits including Life, Short Term Disability and Long-Term Disability· 401-K Plan with Company match About Our Company:Alex Cooper Auctioneers, Inc. is a leading auction firm serving Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, Delaware, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Florida, South Carolina and Texas.
