Job Title: Integration / Interoperability Solution ArchitectLocation: Remote (USA)Experience Required: 8–10+ years IT experience / 5+ years healthcare integration experience / 3+ years solution / integration architectureDomain: Healthcare – Payer / Provider / Managed Care / InsuranceMust-Have Skills:Healthcare integration: HL7 (v2), FHIR, X12 (278, 834), CCDA, EDIStrong experience with Mirth Connect / NextGen Mirth ConnectREST APIs, JSON/XML, SOAP (good to have)Strong SQL for data validation and troubleshootingPayer workflows: eligibility, enrollment, utilization management (prior auth)Integration architecture: end-to-end design, interface specs, data flowsProduction support: monitoring, debugging, and issue resolutionAzure cloud exposure (preferred) Roles & Responsibilities (Integration / Interoperability Solution Architect)Lead end-to-end healthcare integration architecture design across payer, provider, and partner ecosystems.Design scalable interoperability solutions using HL7, FHIR, X12, CCDA, and EDI standards.Build and maintain integration architecture artifacts including system diagrams, data flow diagrams, interface specifications, and technical design documents.Design and support FHIR-based REST APIs and healthcare data exchange services.Configure, develop, and troubleshoot interfaces using Mirth Connect / NextGen Mirth Connect.Work with key healthcare transactions such as X12 278 (Utilization Management) and 834 (Enrollment).Collaborate with business, product, engineering, and external partners to translate requirements into technical solutions.Provide architectural governance, review designs, and ensure adherence to integration standards.Support production environments, including monitoring, debugging, and resolving interface failures.Optimize integration performance, identify risks, and improve data exchange workflows.Work in Agile environments and participate in estimation, planning, and solution reviews.Leverage Azure cloud and AI/GenAI tools for modern integration enhancements. Top 5 Must-Have Skills (with Experience)Healthcare Integration Standards (5+ years) : HL7, FHIR, X12 (278, 834), CCDA, EDIMirth Connect / NextGen Mirth Connect (3–5 years) ; Interface development, configuration, troubleshootingHealthcare Payer Domain Experience (5+ years): Enrollment, eligibility, utilization management workflowsIntegration Architecture / Solution Design (3–5 years) : End-to-end architecture, APIs, system design, documentationAPI, SQL & Production Support (4+ years): REST APIs, SQL troubleshooting, monitoring and incident resolution.Please share the updated resume to hasinab@staffworxs.com if you are interested.
