RF & Electrical Calibration Technician (Tescom)

Tescom, an Accredited Labs company, is seeking an experienced RF & Electrical Calibration Technician to join our Austin laboratory. This is a hands-on technical role for a calibration professional who enjoys solving complex measurement problems, working independently, and strengthening RF and electrical calibration capabilities.You'll work in a quality-driven environment supporting a wide range of customers and industries across Central Texas. This role offers technical variety, advanced instrumentation, and the opportunity to directly contribute to growing our RF and high-accuracy electrical scope.What You'll Be Doing Calibrate, adjust, and troubleshoot RF, microwave, and electronic test equipmentPerform calibrations on:Signal generatorsSpectrum analyzersOscilloscopesPower metersFrequency countersExecute precision electrical calibrations on meters, sources, multifunction calibrators, and bench equipmentPerform work in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3, internal procedures, and customer requirementsEvaluate out-of-tolerance conditions, measurement anomalies, and equipment performance issuesMaintain accurate calibration records and technical documentationSupport productivity, turnaround time, and quality goalsAssist with procedure improvements and expanded technical capabilitiesPerform occasional local or regional same-day site visits as business needs requireEquipment & Experience We ValueStrong RF instrumentation background (required)Experience with equipment from Keysight / Agilent / HP, Rohde & Schwarz, Tektronix, and FlukeBackground in a commercial calibration lab, military metrology, PMEL, or TMDE environment is highly valuedSolid understanding of uncertainty, traceability, and accredited quality systemsWhat We're Looking For3+ years of relevant calibration experience preferredAbility to troubleshoot independently and make sound technical decisionsComfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-focused lab environmentWillingness to travel occasionally for on-site customer supportDependable, detail-oriented, and committed to high technical standardsWhy Tescom?Lab-based role in Austin (limited travel)Technically challenging RF and electrical calibration workOpportunity to strengthen and expand RF capabilitiesStable environment backed by Accredited LabsTeam-oriented culture with room for technical growth Competitive compensation and based on experience, skill level, and technical depthAbout Us:Accredited Labs is a trusted provider of accredited calibration services.
